I was privileged to visit Bali multiple times with my family at a young age. Coming back roughly two decades later, after movies like eat, pray, love, and social media had left their impacts in many different ways, it took some time to bring in line nostalgic memories of the island and modern reality. Nevertheless, the island of the gods luckily still maintains its traditions and originality which you can discover by heading away from the most commercial places on the island.
